"Had a great room at front on top floor with great sea view. Room and hotel were clean. Did not have breakfast. Possibly understaffed. One night we got back at 9:30 and bar was closed. Lift was out Ok for us but was a problem for some other guests. Would probably use again . Hard to choose between this and the nearby voco."

"Breakfast was very good as always,parking is first class,staff are polite and helpful,they always are,room was clean,although a wee bit tired but enjoyed our stay,and we often go back 3/4 times a year."

"Plenty of parking. Staff friendly at check in. We had a junior suite - it was lovely. Clean / bed comfy. Breakfast was included - nice surprise. One of the nicest /best cooked buffet breakfasts we have error had in a hotel I ordered pancakes - lovely. Only neg - the heating in the stairwell - roasting!! "

"We have returned after having spent the last 2 nights at The Clarendon for my husbands 40th birthday, the communication was brilliant from start to finish, we loved our room (the goodwin suite) its a touch of luxury with a very reasonable price tag, the beach and pier view absolutely blew me away, after having lost my mum last week it was a welcome distraction as well as a celebration for my husband.
