"Comfortable base for exploring the southwest corner of the UK. Had requested a high floor in my reservation but was placed below the lobby overlooking what seemed like the personnel parking lot, which was a bit of a bummer. It’s the small things one does that can make an average impression a great one, and make one return. Hotel was definitely not full. Perhaps I got dinged for not making my reservation through their website or perhaps the lower priced rooms are just simply downstairs.."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Legacy Rose and Crown. The hotel staff at the front desk were really pleasant and helpful. Dinner was delicious with a lovely view of the river at sunset. Breakfast was quite good, with both hot and cold options, however the coffee could have been hotter. The location is a short, pretty walk from Salisbury Cathedral. "
