"This is a tricky review to write as some things about Sweetfield Manor were very good but others were not. Firstly, the place advertises itself as a 5 star boutique hotel, boutique is correct, 5 star definitely not. The room itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with an excellent shower room. "Very warm and hospitable staff. Although there are 2 on-site restaurants, the menus are a bit limited however there are several dining options walking distance from the hotel. Local transportation was convenient and pocket friendly. The beach is rocky and was rough during Easter time but there are other beach facilities close by. Will definitely recommend this hotel."

"I had an overnight stay that was planned last min. I originally planned to stay two nights but realized that it was just not for me - ( I had originally came from the popular tourist area and needed to backfill two nights ) although they realized it was just not my style both hosts went above and beyond to accommodate me as much as possible and even worked to get me a refund for the next night - the place is lovely and quiet and perfect for anyone looking for just that!
