"Beautiful property with a lovely blend of "old" and "new" ambiance/decor. Gorgeous wood bannisters and other wood touches that appear to be old/original with what appears to be newer tile, room numbers, etc. which compliment each other wonderfully. Appreciated the shelf inside the shower for my own shampoo, an outlet in the bathroom, and similar updates while keeping the charm of the building. Room and purblic areas were exceptionally clean. "We arrived at the hotel and everything looked fine at first—until we entered our room. Instead of proper beds, we found a broken air mattress and a small bent metal folding bed. The air conditioning wasn’t working either. The owner insisted that this room was an “upgrade.” After we complained, he moved us to another room, but that one didn’t even have a private bathroom or shower, which was not what we had booked. "Bathroom not clean - mold on tile, hair in drain, film on fixtures. AC non-functional. Otherwise adequate. Great location in old town Kranj with good proximity to Ljubljana airport. Was hard for cab to find, as seems to be located in a pedestrian/locals only zone. The retro-appliance vibe is cute, but the rooms are spartan and the common space furniture is dated and worn. We expected more for the price - not a good value. Looked better in the photos."
