"Room was very good - bathroom could have been better cleaned - someone's hair on floor. Large clean room nicely furnished with a great view and very quiet. Location and setting very nice but the property outside looked like a dump - old mattresses and appliances everywhere and overflowing dumpsters. Diner was closed so no option for a meal. On the whole nice stay and reasonable rate."

"It is a cute little stay with a nice view nearby , however if you are not going around there for activities, do not just drive there to stay at the lodge, it is a long drive and not an easy one. Staff are nice and environment is friendly, however there is no phone signal only wifi available."

Staff were so friendly and helpful and breakfast was perfect with option for tea and cookies during the day to take a break. A must stay when visiting Barkerville. "

"Location is close to bowling, pools, billiards good restaurants. Rooms are clean and nicely renovated. Bathrooms have interesting on off see through glass. I wish there was a switch for because if you bump the door it becomes see through. Or a lock on the bathroom door?"
