"Lovely lodge Lovely grounds lots of animals to see birds peacocks roaming in grounds . Only thing went for meal at main hotel and found it disappointing due to being over cooked or warmed and not over nice.. being the only ones in restaurant due to early seasons put it down to that."

"We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...

"Nice place and nice surroundings. Well positioned for the south east corner of Cornwall. It's not often you go away these days to a self catering cottage and don't get a welcome pack. Even if it's just a pint of milk. But not here. Also, free access to Wi-Fi is now pretty standard, but again not here. A couple of small things that could have made it perfect. "

"Booking made and paid for a week prior but when I arrived the hotel was in darkness. The member of staff said they don’t take bookings from hotels.com. and no room offered as it’s the end of the season (September). So I had to leave and find somewhere else. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. "
