"Clean simple room. I liked the nespresso machine in the lobby and the nightly dinner. Only sad that the balcony room didnt look like the picture. Neighbors could look directly into the bed. Staff was great."

"The staff are friendly and very helpful in answering all questions. The hotel is close to a shopping mall and the Almeda metro station, which is the nearest one. If you plan to travel to Espanya (Barcelona), it takes about 30 minutes. If you’re familiar with the travel zones in Barcelona, this area is still in Zone 1. Restaurants are scattered around, but most can be found at the mall. Please note that there is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. You can buy water from the bar."

"Although we only stayed one night after our cruise, the check in staff were so helpful throughout our visit. We appreciated all of their help with transportation around the city and the taxi to the airport. We would definitely stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our short stay at Hostal Elkano even though we had to work at communication with our limited Spanish and their limited English. One of the most impressive and welcomed aspect was the ductless air conditioning unit because the weather was very hot during our stay. We would definitely stay there again!"

"Nice, decent and clean hotel in a really good location. The rooms are not big but the beds are comfortable and the bathroom was decent. We stayed at first floor with a small balcony to the street and I was worried about possible noise from the street but we slept well. Also compliments to the hotel for good morning coffee and u can refill your water bottle."
