"I was assigned a room that was not prepared for guests. The bed had no linen, the room was dirty, and the bathroom had no basic toiletries like shampoo. Concerningly, the fire alarm had been ripped from the wall. I didn’t stay. I would not feel comfortable recommending this hotel to anyone. "

"We stayed one night after flying into Phoenix. There are two similarly named Holiday Inn versus Holiday Inn Express within 2 blocks so make sure you check the address. We had to drive around to find the right one. Staff was friendly but our room was partially cleaned (bed and bathroom were cleaned but there were ironing boards left out, trash on the table and leftover food in the fridge). It was a little bit creepy so the staff offered to give us reward points in exchange (yet to recieve)....

"The location is great, near the shopping mall and in a super great part of town. The room wasnt as elegant in comparison, but the staff was nice and helpful. The location does make it quite noisy though, between the supercars ripping down the nearby street all hours of the day and the 4am trash pickup screeching you awake what seemed like every day of my stay. If you are a light sleeper, consider a different location perhaps. Otherwise, decent value for the cost for the location. "

"First room I was assigned the tub was filthy with a dark ring around the tub plus the bottom was filthy too. Get assigned a second room, move all my stuff into it and stay my first night there. Washed my face and brushed my teeth the next morning and the sink wouldn’t drain. Contacted the office, they sent maintenance which snaked it, took the piping apart to get to the trap and snaked it beyond the trap only to unleash a funk like no other and get black water all over my dog’s bed. Put it all...

"The hotel staff are invasive "

"On the 2nd floor there is a trash room. It will stink up the hallways ans rooms very bad. Plus, the bottom lip of the door has a crack beneath big enough for someone to fit their phone through or run a hidden camera to do some peeping or open the door. Does not feel comfortable or safe. "
