This oceanfront treasure offers beach vacationing at its best. With sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Sea View retains many of its charming 1900's features such as the original bead board, hardwood floors, wood paneled ceilings, and more. It has been beautifully renovated and boasts a modern kitchen, bathrooms, and more. An ideal home to escape to with family or friends. Enjoy morning coffee looking at the ocean from the vintage swinging loveseat on your veranda or play croquet on the sprawling lawn with family and friends. Just yards away, Short Sands Beach and downtown York Beach Village offers a sandy beach, quaint shops, ice cream, restaurants, entertainment and more--perfect for the young at heart! Looking to adventure beyond Short Sands? We are located less than 1/4 mile from Long Sands Beach, a short walk to the Nubble Lighthouse and a short bike ride to York Village. One Long Beach Vacation Rental Properties also owns the Sand and Surf which is located next door. In addition, we have five properties located down the street at our One Long Beach address. These include three charming cottages (Goose Rocks, Heron Neck, and Owls Head) as well as the Main House and the Carriage House. Renters must read and acknowledge the Renters Information and Agreement Letter for the property. .

Absolutely wonderful

Our whole family stayed at this sweet cottage facing the Atlantic and a short walk to Short Sands beach and the Nubble Lighthouse. With eight of us it was a very full house but everyone was comfortable. We were there during unusually hot (90 degrees+) temps in June and made much use of window fans on the 2nd floor where three of the bedrooms are and then the two large air conditioners on the first floor . Even though the temps cooled down at night we still could have used an AC on the second floor for sleeping. Otherwise, every other amenity was provided and the kitchen was wonderful. We all had a great time playing ball on the large front lawn and loved being able to sit in the provided Adirondack chairs at the edge of the ocean out directly in front of the cottage. Our hosts were delightful and available for any questions or needs we had. Bests hosts we've ever had at a rental. We have already made plans to return next year!

Family Get-Away

Mother-daughter weekend

My sister and I took my mother to ME for a long weekend and had an excellent experience staying at the Sea View! The pictures don’t do the house justice - just the perfect mix of a classic coastal home with modern renovations that give you all the comfort you need. The house was very clean with comfortable beds and linens and a well stocked kitchen. We spent a lot of time on the porch watching the waves. We’d definitely return!

Amazing Way To End The Summer

This property was fantastic. Perfect for my family with two small children and my sister-in-laws family. So close to short sands beach and only minutes walking distance to the town and wild kingdom. Great front lawn area as well for the kids to play on. Will definitely be going back!

Family Getaway Memorial Day Weekend

The house was amazing with excellent views and very a nice interior. We had a very rainy weekend but it didn't matter because the house was so nice, clean and roomy we really enjoyed it. We had a lot of family time with dinners/movies together and totally enjoyed the house. Ed was very friendly and good to deal with if we had an issue. I can't wait to rent it again and hopefully get to enjoy the lovely front porch. The house is amazing!

A charming home with the most beautiful view of the ocean. The home was very clean, and has everything you could possibly need. The property managers, Barbara and Ed, were very accommodating and communicative. Can’t wait to get back here next year !

Absolutely perfect location

The Sea View, a great home in pristine condition with a beautiful view of the ocean, sunrise and sunset all from the same point. The rocky coastline is right out the front door and Short Sands beach is 100 yards down the road. Town is an easy walk. The home easily accommodated our 6 adults and 2 babies. We really enjoyed the Sea View. It was clean, comfortable and beautiful, inside and out. Ed was a great host. We loved it.

York Beach, dream vacation home!

What a wonderful place to stay! The house is right on the Ocean and a short walk to short sands. House is very clean and updated. Did not have to bring linens or bath towels. The King size beds were so comfortable. I would recommend this place very highly!
