"Great location and quiet room . The couple who own the property are both lovely and helpful. The room has all the amenities you could wish for , they have considered what a guest might want or need . You can park off street . The room was a little on the small side but adequate for one or two nights . The continental breakfast is adequate and the fresh coffee as very good . The property was full so the breakfast room was too and we felt a little bit close to other tables ."

"When we arrived just after 2pm it was like stepping onto the Marie Celeste. We finally found a few customers who told us that only member of staff doing front of house was getting ice cream for their daughter. When she appeared we asked about food but was told that the kitchen closed at 2 and that we would need to go out if we were hungry.
Checking us in, she was very pleasant but hadn’t read my email sent a couple of days before to say we were bringing a dog which didn’t smack of...

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "

"Check in was a joke . Rang bell 3 times before anyone came to reception. When they did arrive tried to charge me again when I had already paid. My message said breakfast ( continental was included) . Got up next day and female staff member said it wasn’t so we went elsewhere for breakfast. ON return I showed them message from hotel to say it stated breakfast was included. They did give us it the day we were leaving. They didn’t offer to reimburse for breakfast as their mistake I asked for two...
