Shell House is well placed for enjoying Whitby and exploring the wider coast. The town’s train station is on Bagdale near Victoria Square, and Whitby also has good local bus routes connecting to surrounding villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast.

Whitby itself is a great base for a traditional seaside break, with its harbour, beach, old town, shops, restaurants and abbey all drawing visitors throughout the year. If you want to get out and explore, nearby places such as Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes are all within easy reach.

This location works well for guests who want the flexibility to enjoy Whitby on foot while still having transport links and parking available if needed.

Its close to the railway station and walking distance into town with Pannett park directly opposite.
