Head up the outside steps to the grand entrance of the building and then make your way up another flight to your apartment on the first floor. At the heart of the retreat is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with sophisticated, stylish decor and an airy ambience. Settle back on the grey sofa to rest and recuperate after your latest trip out. Watch the Smart TV together, read a book or gaze out of the window. Take turns at playing chef over in the well-equipped kitchen area then serve up at the table to your friends or family members. When you are ready to treat yourselves to a perfect night’s sleep, amble through to one of the two double bedrooms, one of which has a Juliet balcony. Awake to a refreshing shower in the family shower room before heading over to Pannett Park opposite for a morning stroll. There is no private outside space with this apartment. Parking is on the street, subject to availability.

Explore the historic streets of Whitby, pausing in the town’s interesting shops and eateries. Pack your beach gear and make your way just 0.5 miles to the sandy beach. Take a stroll along the pier as the sun sets. Lace up your walking boots and follow a section of the Cleveland Way along the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast. Plan an afternoon out to scenic Robin Hood’s Bay, 7 miles away.
