Accessed via stairs or a lift, the heart of this second-floor apartment is the lounge/dining room where comfortable seating is arranged around a Smart TV, and a dining table provides a great place to tuck into home-cooked meals together. The well-equipped kitchen has all the necessary equipment to make meal preparation a pleasure. There are also two bedrooms to choose from when night falls, a king-size and a twin, which share the use of a family shower room.

While there is no outside space with this apartment, Whitby’s long coastal promenade is only half a mile from the front door where you can savour an ice cream or a portion of paper-wrapped fish and chips. Climb 199 steps to the 11th-century Whitby Abbey, just over half a mile away or venture further afield to Robin Hood’s Bay (6 miles) with its fossil-rich beaches and intriguing smugglers’ history. Or, head to Scarborough (20 miles) to experience all the traditional attractions of Britain’s original seaside resort; visit the Scarlett Fair Collection and take a picnic to the charming oriental-themed Peasholm Park.
