Kon Tiki Retreat - Whiritoa Beach Holiday Home

This lovely two-bedroom beach house with outside decks & sleep-out accommodates up to 7 people. With the main house offering a master bedroom with queen bed, a second bedroom with two sets of bunk beds and bathroom with toilet and shower.

The lounge in the main house includes TV & wifi, alongside a well apportioned & functional kitchen. Outside you will find a separate toilet and shower which links nicely with the newly renovated sleep-out that has a double bed and bunk bed.There's also an extra outside shower for use after a day at the beach and filleting station for any fish you may catch.

The large decks on both sides of the main house allows for all day sun or shade giving guests the options for relaxation. Make use of the outdoor furniture to put your feet up or share a delicious meal together.

Kon Tiki Retreat is only a few minutes walk to the surf beach which has life guards on duty over holiday periods. The southern end of the beach offers some amazing rock caves to explore, while the north end has a lovely lagoon for families with younger children to swim.

Whiritoa is a hidden gem nestled conveniently between Whangamata and Waihi, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds. Relaxation without too many people and restaurant as well as boat ramps & supermarkets within 15 minutes drive. There is also a great takeaway and coffee shop in Whiritoa which is famous for its amazing hamburgers and fresh fish & chips, plus you can conveniently grab any grocery essentials you may need at the same time.

There are life-jackets available to use with the 2x available kayaks but we do recommend that guests bring their own well-fitting life-jackets to ensure safety.The pictured fireplace is not available for guest use.Top bunk beds are not suitable for adults due to max. weight restrictionsPlease note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year.
