"Lindsey and Richard run a wonderful B&B with a cooked to order breakfast with farm fresh eggs. The rooms are spotless and well taken care of during the stay by Lindsey. The area is quiet at night for a good sleep, the yard and gardens lovely, and an excellent pub close by. We really hope to be back one day."

"Reasonably priced hotel very well situated right next to departures at Gatwick airport South terminal. Good for one night if you have an early morning flight. But the cheapest windowless rooms are tiny; no space to walk all around the bed! The photos on the website only show the higher priced rooms."

"Stayed here for 1 night, didn’t know what to expect, but from walking into the hotel, the lady receptionist was lovely and really went above and beyond (thank you), and the hotel room was great—had everything me and my child needed. Would defo stay here again if I needed to. "

"You get what you pay for! The bedroom has seen better days and not in good condition. Sink was full of cracks which have been there a long while looking at the colour of them. Same again with the shower tray. Breakfast was very basic and the staff didn't seem or want to notice that both juice dispensers were empty and the food plates needed refreshing. If I need to stay in the area again I won't be going back."

"I ordered room service which took 45 mins . The hot soup i ordered was cold! I requested coke zero , unfortunately regular coke sent. I had to wait again for it. So room service was horrible!"

"The staff was friendly, helpful and overall excellent. Unfortunately, the elevator was not working and it was not repaired throughout our stay of 6 nights! We were on the fifth floor, so we had to make the tedious climb up and down to our room. The hotel did not even offer to compensate us for this inconvenience. It was only after we asked for a complimentary something that they offered one day free breakfast. The water pressure of the toilet in the room was very low, so flushing did not work...

"Good room for a brief stay overnight and proximity to Gatwick. The sink was blocked in the room. However, the restaurant was awful. The service was terrible, with our order forgotten, and took over 1 hour to come out. Drinks to over 20 minutes. When it did arrive, it was not the quality expected of a Marriott with the meat poor quality, the cesar salad full of mayonnaise. For two mains and two drinks it cost over £70. Do yourself a favour and avoid the restaurant"
