Early morning on the Grand River. Fall is a great time of year in Ontario because not only are the leaves changing colours, but there is usually a mist on the water early in the morning. When I woke up and started driving to this spot close to #MyBackyard I wasn't optimistic because there were no clouds in the sky for the sun to light up. I was pleasantly surprised when the horizon started to turn orange and pink just before the sun rose. Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo are all great cities for photography as there are many trails that run along the Grand River.

Sunrise at the steel truss black bridge constructed in 1916 in Cambridge, Ontario. I was driving the backroads instead of the highway one day to get to Guelph when I stumbled upon this hidden gem, an old single lane bridge. I returned on the weekend for sunrise and got luckily with a great sunrise. #Trovember
