We had such a fun stay at this property! The pictures don’t even come close to doing it justice. It was so thoughtfully set up, with every little detail covered. The space was both comfortable and fun, perfect for relaxing and enjoying time together.My 10-year-old daughter especially loved the waterslide. It was HUGE and such a blast. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Again, the pictures don’t capture how great it really is!Kevin, the host, was wonderful. He was kind, responsive, and accommodating. He even offered us an early check-in and late check-out, which made our trip even smoother.We will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, comfortable getaway that can easily accommodate a larger group.

Space is big and definitely nice however be wary of visiting in summer. AC doesn't work for the lower levels of the main house. Also there were ants everywhere even when there wasn't any food. Woke up to ants crawling on body and found ants in the bed. This was right when we checked in and the ants got progressively worse.

Family Escape

Our large family of 12 had a great stay. The outdoor spaces were great for age spread (10-80). There was plenty for everyone to do. The pool is a larger than normal size and the setup worked out well for everyone. Kevin, the manager is fantastic and responsive.

Perfect family getaway

Family and friends vacation getaway. We wanted a place where we wouldn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to and this home was great! The outdoor space was everything we wanted, we spent most of the time in the pool. The pool was beautiful and our favorite feature of the home. The KIDS and adults loved the water slide. The area with the grill was perfect for the whole group have lunch and dinners together. Our group was 19 adults and 5 kids (all under 7). The house had plenty of room so it didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. I thought only having 4 bathrooms would be tough but it worked out, no issues. Home was well stocked plenty of plates and cups and lots of beach and bath towels. There was also plenty of parking on site, we easily fit 8 cars. We will def book this home again.

Perfect Staycation

This house was perfect for a staycation we planned with friends! There was plenty of space inside and out. The pool and slide were a hit with the kids and the hot tub for the adults. The view was incredible and even though we were surrounded by other houses, it felt very secluded which was nice.

Fun family vacation!

We had an amazing stay at this home with 8 adults and 8 kids! We had plenty of space for all of us to relax during the day and sleep comfortably at night. The best part of the house is the backyard with pool and amazing views and plenty of areas to lounge! The kids (and even adults!) had a blast on the giant slide! The owner was great to communicate with and even delivered 2 arcade machines during our stay that they just purchased - Pac-Man and the Star Wars pinball machine turned out to be a fun bonus for us that the kids and adults loved! Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this lovely vacation home! Thank you!

So perfect

We rented this house for a short vacation with a group of 23 friends. The inside of the house is absolutely beautiful but the backyard is truly the BEST part. The pool and the water slide are even better in person. Kevin is also really easy to work with and is very responsive to calls and emails. We got there a couple hours early and the house was still being cleaned so Kevin made sure we had a place to hang out outside so we didn’t need to mobilize our large party but were also out of the way of the cleaning staff. All this to say if I ever travel with a big group again I’d definitely stay here. It was seamless. Truly no complaints!

Family Reunion

We enjoyed this place so much as it was perfect to have a big family come together in one place to celebrate birthdays and have a family reunion. The pool/slide was awesome and used everyday. It was a convenient location and central to some of Southern California beaches and amusement parks.

This property was absolutely AMAZING! I hosted a company team retreat here and we were all just amazed at how large and beautiful it was. Everyone enjoyed their time! Favorite part of the home was the backyard with the heated pool with slide!!!! Will definitely come back!

Great potential but lack of communication, i would not stay here again

Dear Kevin, We wanted to share transparent honest feedback, so you can continue to improve your offering to your customers, ratings and reviews as well as your business. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the location, the swimming pool, pool table and just the chance to spend time together in the way our family was hoping! So thank you for providing your space to us for this gathering. One of our biggest challenges was the guest house (Casita) and its air circulation and heat, during this time of the year. Out of several different locations in the southern California region we had selected this one specifically because we wanted the elders in our family 75-85 years old, to really have a safe place they could relax and enjoy as well as then join the family in the main house. Unfortunately due to the air conditions and heat in the guest house, we had to move elders into the main house for the first 2-3 days. Which was quite disturbing for them with all the noise and very sad for us, as we had promised them a comfortable environment, which they did not get – and were not happy with the moving back and forth. I would have to say this was our biggest issue and a really difficult one for us to digest for the entire experience. Looking back there is no way we would have booked this place had we known this was going to be the situation for the guest house. Smaller issues we faced, though hopefully you would want to rectify moving forward: 1) The freezer was not working / showed it to your guys as frozen foods all melted. 2) Downstairs, shower curtains had mold on them 3) Outdoor/Backyard had dirty diapers and beer bottles remaining outside 4)sheets weren’t available for some beds which u got 2 days later Lastly, it was unfortunate that we weren’t able to get a hold of you many times during our challenging moments while staying at your place. Although i understand emergencies happen, it is always such a comforting experience when the host is accessible and ready to support their client’s stays. All in all, our family made the best of it as it isnt easy for our parents to move and NO OTHER HOUSE WAS AVAILABLE for my large group especially the ones with heart problems Lastly, you offered compensation for the fans we bought and left there and inconvenience which you did not give. I write this mixed review bc this space has soo much potential but not transparent in its shortcomings.

Best rental house EVER!!

This property was beyond our expectations!! Everyone had a great time. If the kids are having a great time, so are the adults. We never once heard... "we're bored". Actually saved money not going to all the parks we had planned on. No one wanted to leave. Everyone enjoyed the slide, the outside theater, pool and just the property itself. BBQing overlooking the pool and the mountains. Everything we would ever need, was there. Such as kitchen ware and bedding. We will definitely book this property again. Location was great. Super close to any store you would need. We had no complaints. Best rental property I have EVER been to. Thank you Kevin!

Property was great and exactly as advertised. The heat on the hot tub didn’t seem to go past 95 the last couple of nights but the group preferred the pool so there was no issue. The BBQ was a bit dirty so we let it run for a little bit before we started cooking. Very easy check in process and the house had everything we needed.

Great for a family reunion

Lots of fun amenities for families. The amenities kept our entire family of 24 busy and entertained for 5 days. The pool was warm, and all the other entertainment amenities were in good working order. We even enjoyed a movie outside a couple of evenings. The houses will sleep 24 but the bathroom situation can make it a challenge. In the big house, two of the 3 bathrooms are attached to bedrooms and there are no doors on the bathrooms to separate them. There were several issues with appliances and an entry door which the owner is now aware of. The house also looks a little rundown. The beds were comfortable. The little house had a functioning kitchen but no pots, dishes, utensils or dish soap and towels. If we needed another big house, we would definitely book it again.

Disappointing House

This was my first time using a VBRO. I was quite disappointed. Admittedly, we had few choices, needing a 8 bedroom house, ( 6 in the main house & 2 in the guest house) but this home was not as it appeared. It wasn't until we arrived at the location that we found out that there wasn't any bathroom on the main floor. Both bedrooms on the top floor had private bathrooms but the 4 bedrooms on the lower level had to share 1 bathroom. Two of the bedrooms on the lower level didn't have closets or AC. The guest house, which we rented at additional cost so we could have the extra 2 bedrooms, also had no closets or AC. throughout the main house, the water pressure was so low, it was difficult to use the bathroom sinks and one of the showers didn't even operate. The main house's refrigerator was not working properly: ice maker and water dispenser were not working. The drawers & shelves were missing so it was very difficult to store food properly. The furniture was broken, torn and in generally poor condition. The grounds were poorly maintained. There were numerous safety haazards. The pool or playground were not fenced, dirt pathways/areas were so full of gopher holes, it was dangerous to walk through them, The owner had a long list of demands and expectations, but was very difficult to deal with. He could take weveral days to respond to questions, problems or requests both prior to and during the stay. I certainly would not recommend this house & guest house to anyone and feel it gives the VBRO organization a bad reputation.
