"This is a modern apartment built for I presume a corporate traveler who has business with Fassi which is adjacent. It's within a short walk to the tram to Bergamo which is very convenient. What the apartment lacks is "character." It's a modern but sterile environment which is somewhat out of character with Italy. On the other hand, everything works, and it's squeaky clean. "Very nice property in a great location. Loads of little bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Main drawback was the street noise though and cars driving past through the night and early morning. Superb apartment though and anyone getting a room on the other side would be fine."

"Beautiful property, near pristine condition with tons of convenient amenities. Every night we enjoyed dinner in the complex and people watched while the kids played. Despite all the activities in the complex, including late night shows, the rooms were very quiet. We didn’t hear a peep and slept super soundly.
The *only* confusing bits were check-in (just go to the Radisson), and the light controls… but those are very minor inconveniences.
HIGHLY recommend, and will definitely stay again if...

"Absolutely fantastic apartment in a Beautiful location, the rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard, the staff were extremely helpful and always smiling! A great selection at breakfast especially the freshly made scrambled eggs. We popped down to the restaurant on a couple of evenings and the food was lovely. Nothing at all negative to say!"

"Only 5 units in this beautifully renovated palazzo. Great location. Very clean, good size rooms. First floor has a beautiful common area living room. Breakfast area on the second floor serves a good spread every morning. The palazzo was better than " four star" hotels we have stayed in during our trip around Italy this year. Staff on site only part of the day but no issues with access. Barbara sends all required info by email well in advance. We loved Bergamo and our stay in Porta Picta!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Donizetti residence. Good communication with Marcella who was there to welcome us when we arrived. The room was large, bathroom very modern, great shower! It’s very central in Bergamo with easy access to the trains, buses and funicular. We enjoyed having the table and chairs on the patio which was very peaceful, despite the proximity to the town.
