"The place was better for a long stay. It was large with a kitchen, living area, large bathroom with shower, and separate bedroom. The kitchen had all the amenities including a full size refrigerator.
We were on the ground floor so no views. Not sure if we were on the second floor if we would have seen much of a view. Seems like a very residential area. Coffee shop and pastries just up the street and a couple more down the street. Full grocery store not too far away from Cardeal Suites.

"Private apartment, managed by the hostel around the corner. Double bed in living room is a full size couch/futon (a 1.5 person bed). When we came in, the mirror was full of white foam, sprayed but never wiped. That was a quick remedy. Nice decoration. There was a very strong cleaning smell in the kitchen and bathroom and I could see a spray of it in the sink, like it was never rinsed (think Antikal, liquid descaler). That should have been rinsed. Apartment is one floor up, stairs only, good to...

"The rooms had their own car park but required a deposit in cash to obtain the remote for the gate. I don’t carry cash so was forced to haul my suitcase up and down multiple stairways and along a dark and uneven path around the back of the building to get to my room late at night.
The room itself was fine. Clean and spacious although the bathroom smelled mouldy. Lighting was poor - particularly in the bathroom. Overall it was fine but nothing special."

"The location is good and easy to park. Don’t forget to download the EasyPark app before you go. Nice host. Cleaning was lacking but I think that could be resolved as the host was responsive. Close to malls and theatre and one hour from beaches and algarve benagil caves. This is an apartment with lots of space and sleeps 4 easily. Nice to have a washer. AC was good and working. Netflix on tv was awesome. Good location for if you are renting a car."

"The apartment was in a great location. I arrived after 8 pm and incurred a €30 cash penalty which I was not aware of when I booked. The mop and bucket were in the corner if the dining room and the bathroom trash bin had not been emptied. The apartment was clean otherwise."
