"We originally booked a studio, but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment. It was very spacious and well maintained. The interior is a little dated in places, but everything was clean and tidy, so this didn’t bother us at all. The beds and bedding were excellent, and the bathroom was great with a good shower. "The property was as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. I would have preferred not to pay a cash deposit though for the wifi router- as you do not get this back until you leave. As I am UK the 20 Euro at end not so useful. The surrounds pool and location is wonderful. Such easy access to the beach via walk or train. The beach is breathtaking along with view of the Ria Formasa. I will return. The local staff friendly. I was made to feel welcome."

"The property is walking distance from the bus or train station. Old town is nearby. There are many restaurants nearby which is very convenient. The property is very clean and modern. The room was spacious and the AC blows cold. Communication with the host was excellent. Thanks to Claudia who welcomed and checked us in. Great service and allowed us to check in early. Great place to stay is Faro. Highly recommend this place."

"This apartment was listed as a two-bedroom apartment. The check-in was at 12:00 p.m. although we arrived at 3:00 p.m. The owner of the apartment said it had not been cleaned and we would have to wait for the cleaning of the apartment. However, it was not at all the same apartment that I booked a completely different building different setup. There was only one tiny bedroom with a moldy shower and glass door toilet. My friend has hip problems and could not walk up the steep stairs to the toilet...

"Private apartment, managed by the hostel around the corner. Double bed in living room is a full size couch/futon (a 1.5 person bed). When we came in, the mirror was full of white foam, sprayed but never wiped. That was a quick remedy. Nice decoration. There was a very strong cleaning smell in the kitchen and bathroom and I could see a spray of it in the sink, like it was never rinsed (think Antikal, liquid descaler). That should have been rinsed. Apartment is one floor up, stairs only, good to...

"Only stayed for one night but accommodations were very clean and space worked well for our family of 5. It was nice that living room had a door which essentially made it a 3rd bedroom and my son said futon couch was comfortable. Each room also had a nice fan that kept us cool and comfortable. One complaint is that the shower water pressure was very poor. Lovely terrace that we wish we’d spent more time on!"

"Lovely, spacious apartment in the centre of Faro. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen including a washing machine. The apartment is a first-floor apartment above restaurants including the delivery door to McDonalds where drivers tend to congregate. Hence, can be noisy. The apartment has shutters on all windows to help reduce the noise. The host was a good communicator. A security deposit is required, but this cannot be paid by Credit Card and must be paid by Revolut (a finance app) or cash....

"The rooms had their own car park but required a deposit in cash to obtain the remote for the gate. I don’t carry cash so was forced to haul my suitcase up and down multiple stairways and along a dark and uneven path around the back of the building to get to my room late at night. The room itself was fine. Clean and spacious although the bathroom smelled mouldy. Lighting was poor - particularly in the bathroom. Overall it was fine but nothing special."

"The location is good and easy to park. Don’t forget to download the EasyPark app before you go. Nice host. Cleaning was lacking but I think that could be resolved as the host was responsive. Close to malls and theatre and one hour from beaches and algarve benagil caves. This is an apartment with lots of space and sleeps 4 easily. Nice to have a washer. AC was good and working. Netflix on tv was awesome. Good location for if you are renting a car."
