All the history, archaeology, geology, starry skies and sunshine the high desert is known for, with very comfortable accommodations at the end of your busy days. 2.8 miles of private trails, water courses, trees, meadows, wildlife and wildflowers out the back door. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer, dryer, and kennel for your well-behaved dog. Off the beaten path, with all the serenity, space and solitude you crave.. This is an absolutely beautiful property with an impeccable host which made for an unforgettable stay. This is the perfect place to stay for those who wish to experience the serenity of the countryside and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The views are fantastic, there are a myriad of great hiking spots in the region, and the home itself is very comfortable to wind down after a long day of sight seeing.

Absolutely lovely place, clean, quiet and beautiful views in all directions. Susan was a wonderful host and I expect to visit again as soon as I’m able.

Wonderful!!! This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The place really does have everything you need to spend some relaxing time away. A clean, beautiful home in a beautiful part of NM. The wrap around deck with chairs in the front and back was also a favorite place of mine, especially while it rained. Though we spent the days away at a family reunion, this was a nice and comfortable place to come "home" to at the end of the day. Loved it! We'll be back next time! Thanks to the owner for thinking of everything!

It was so peaceful and pretty there! I loved it! My brother, however, was having withdrawal from the t.v. news as we couldn't get it to work. I think you have to have a subscription to various channels to get anything but I loved it that way.

Thank you Susan. We had a great stay as we enjoyed the local Apache Sitgraves National forest for our annual Thompson/Johnson Family reunion. We saw Elk one morning. Showers were hot and the beds were great. We will recommend it to the family. We appreciated the eggs!! The Drakes

Favorite place so far! Super quiet and relaxing, very clean. Eggs from their chickens in the fridge was a great surprise! Great stuff shirt drives away to see as well. Definitely recommend this place. Thank you!

Our stay was wonderful, this property is very quiet and serene and is very comfortable. It was amazing to sit on the porch and watch the sunrise and sunset. The kitchen is well equipped for anything you might need. Susan was gracious enough to turn us on to a nearby rock hounding site. There is no doubt we will stay there again.

The home was just what I was expecting. Location is down a quiet dirt road, great views from the porch. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware, clean towels and linens. Susan even left some fresh eggs as a surprise, went so far as to use the carton with my name on it. GREAT HOST!!

Great getaway!

Beautiful place in the quiet country. Host is very nice and hospitable. If you want quiet, and close to Gila national park, can't beat this place.
