Experience the best of both worlds in this modern, spacious cabin that combines sleek design with natural beauty. This brand new, 1100 square foot cabin was thoughtfully crafted using natural materials, seamlessly integrating with its old-growth forest surroundings. Enjoy open living areas with vaulted ceilings complemented by large windows for views that offer a serene blend of woodland beauty and coastal splendor. The fully stocked kitchen and ample storage space make it easy to settle in. Each of the two private bedrooms have a king-sized bed, smart tv, large closets and ensuites with heated floors. One ensuite comes with a soaker tub while the other with a walk-in shower. Relax in the hot-tub on your private patio or cozy up by the fireplace, all within a serene, tree-enclosed retreat. Calmwater Retreat is Located right beside the Wild Pacific Trail and across from Ucluelet's famous Lighthouse Loop and Terrace Beach; ideal for those seeking a West-Coast escape with modern comforts.

Calmwater Retreat is nestled on a quiet residential street. The Wild Pacific Trail meanders through the breathtaking old-growth forest that surrounds Calmwater, featuring benches where you can pause to admire Ucluelet's ancient trees and numerous viewpoints to take in the stunning ocean vistas. Just across from Calmwater Retreat lies the entrance to Ucluelet's renowned Lighthouse Loop Trail and Terrace Beach. The lively downtown area, featuring a grocery store, gas stations, restaurants, and other amenities, is just a five-minute drive away.

Directions:
Once you arrive at the Ucluelet/Tofino Junction, turn left and follow Peninsula Road through downtown. Your cabin will be on the left at 1003 Peninsula Road, marked by a large Calmwater Retreat sign. The location may appear slightly off on maps, but it will be clearly labeled and is directly across from Terrace Beach.

House Rules
Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM; parties are not permitted.
Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the property.
Only registered guests are allowed on the premises and in the house.
We currently do not allow pets. If you are bringing a service dog, please inform us in advance

Booking Policies
Bookings are subject to a cleaning fee, along with GST, PST, and MRDT (Municipal) tax.
During the peak summer season (June 15 – September 15), a minimum stay of three nights is required, with back-to-back bookings to avoid gaps. If a one-night gap is created, we will contact you to adjust your reservation.
Mid-season rates apply on winter long weekends and during the Christmas period.
A minimum stay of three nights is required for all Canadian statutory holidays.
Cancellation policy: A 100% refund is available for cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival and 50% for cancelations made 7 days before arrival. Please note that while both Airbnb and our website may list different policies due to preset options, this policy takes precedence.
HOUSE RULES:
- Quiet time 10pm - 8am; No parties
- No smoking inside, or near windows of other units
- Only registered guests on property and in the house.
- At this time not dog friendly. If you are bringing a service dog please advise.

BOOKING POLICIES:

It’s beautifully appointed, immaculately clean (seriously, you could eat off the floors—but don’t, because the dining table is even nicer), and the quality finishings throughout make it feel like a boutique retreat.The host was wonderfully attentive without being intrusive—like the VRBO version of a helpful forest spirit. Every detail, from the plush linens to the gleaming hot tub, was top notch. Speaking of the hot tub: pure bliss. Clean, perfectly heated, and surrounded by quiet nature—ideal for stargazing or contemplating life’s mysteries (like why knives are never sharp in rental kitchens).The location is perfect—close to amenities yet tucked away enough that you’ll only hear birds, breeze, and your own sigh of contentment. There’s excellent parking, and it’s EV friendly too (your car will be just as pampered as you are).Just a tiny note: if you’re planning to channel your inner chef, you might want to pack a paring knife and maybe a sharpener—the kitchen is lovely but could use a few more tools in the culinary toolbox. And bring your streaming subscriptions—free TV is a bit sparse, unless you're really into local kids programs and weather updates).Overall: a wonderful stay. We had an amazing stay at Calmwaters! Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the space was impeccably clean and comfortable. Everything was wonderful; even though there was “a bit” of a power outage caused by the “Bomb Cyclone”. Host Jay was extremely helpful! Really wished we could have stayed longer. Definitely hope to return in the near future. Perfect location and perfect accommodations.
