"We had a redeye flight out at 10:30 at night and they were kind enough to let us have a 3 o'clock check out. That was really helpful to not have to worry about what to do with our luggage for the majority of the day. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend this place."

"A well-maintained boutique hotel with great character -- excellent and helpful staff, well-maintained and furnished and centrally located to Chinatown and Union Square. It is half way up steep Nob Hill, which contributes to its charm, but be aware that it is a steep but short walk both from Powell St. and Montgomery St. BART Stations (latter is more manageable). Lyft is readily available and reasonably priced though watch out for surge pricing before 9:30 am ($33 before but $7 after) to BART."

"The Orchard Garden was a surprisingly nice hotel. Our room was very clean and the common areas were also very clean though the rugs could use a little upgrading. The art, sculptures and ceramic pieces were impressive. Our bathroom was quite large, clean and pleasant as was the bed. Location was great - next to Chinatown - and area was pretty nice."

"Great location for exploring San Francisco. We used Lyft, bus, light rail, and walked to the Embarcadero, North Beach, Union Square, and Oracle Park. Very comfortable beds, quiet, great-smelling products, and a spotless bathroom. The staff was very attentive, and my daughter commented on the Forbes service. I assumed the property was newly renovated when it was completed in 2023."
