Hotel and room was clean and looked great and just what we needed. Rooms were nice and warm during this cold weather however the hallways were a bit chilly! "Warm, welcoming staff who go out of their way to correct any and all concerns Very cute rooms, warm and cozy, nicely decorated. Clean, modern bathrooms. Great neighborhood, easy walk to the city center, easy for Uber rides, and some phenomenal restaurants only steps away: Chinese noodle soups, coffee/bakeries, and the Rose and Crown tavern, which has the best meat pies, Sunday roast and sticky toffee pudding ive had yet in England. Highly recommend this hotel."

The tv was well positioned and the water was hot at all times Breakfast was good but some foods could have been a little warmer but that’s often the challenge for buffet service. The range and availability was great though. The lounge and bar are was very well run by professional and friendly staff who definitely know how to deliver great customer service. "The room was very clean, the bed was really large and comfortable, the receptionist we met on arrival and departure was very kind, friendly and made us feel very welcome, also the domestic team were equally helpful and friendly. We were able to book a late checkout at no extra cost which made our stay even better. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely stay again when we visit York. "
