No shower curtain when called front desk had to wait for next day to get one. Received a broken shower curtain. Bathroom door broken wood chipped and door to room have to hit with hip to open always stuck. Toilet clogs . That what I get for the prize only good thing is closed to the parks

I rarely write reviews unless something stands out and was prepared to leave a positive review of this newly renovated hotel and restaurant until I realized my debit card was charged nearly $100 erroneously and hotel was not concerned; when they took my card for incidentals, they also charged me for a ‘room’ which was already paid for prior to arrival. I noted the room was prepaid upon check in and immediately contacted hotel the next day when I saw charge to my bank account - was told charge would be reversed within standard time of incidental charges; I was put off as I NEVER should have been charged for anything aside from the incidental hold and hotel was not at all bothered by their mistake, but let it go. Days later, incidental charges settled in my bank account as expected from hotels, but the erroneous charge was not reversed. After contacting my bank as instructed by hotel initially if not reversed after 3-4 days, I contacted hotel again before filing claim through my bank. The manager simply treated it as an authorized hold that was reversed on their end and would eventually be refunded. It was not. I filed a claim with my bank, but the time it all took and the feeling of a hotel charging my debit card at will for unauthorized amounts - then to be treated as if this is normal - is unnerving. Owners of property clearly put a lot of care into rooms and dining of this newly renovated hotel. They should do same with staff - and phone number on receipt is wrong to boot.
