"It was refreshing to stay somewhere with such individuality rather than the usual chain hotels. Beautifully furnished throughout, with fabulous attention to detail, so much to look at. Breakfast was excellent, a good range of continental and cooked choices, with local ingredients. "The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, whilst the parking was adequate as there were few guests. The room could of benefitted from having lampshades on the wall lights, there was a rouge hair in the bath and the dressing gowns were washed with too much detergent, thus not as soft as you might expect for five star accommodation, At the time of booking a table, the menu differed considerably from that seen online, in addition to the price having been increased. "Very clean and smart room. Public areas are all very well kept and very nicely decorated with plenty of character. There is a very smart homely atmosphere. All the staff have been very friendly and professional. There was a maintenance problem, which couldn’t be resolved, but a suitable option was offered immediately - which we were happy with.
