  • Sit back and relax at this architecturally designed home with 180 degree lake views . Boat, swim, fish, paddle board or just relax in this superb location. The entire front is glass with high raked ceilings to let an abundance of natural light shine through, it is in an elevated position above the lake which will give you water views through the trees from every room in the house. You'll be visited by beautiful wildlife including native birds, kookaburras, lorikeets, butcher birds, cockatoos and galahs.

    Karinyah features large open plan living spaces that flow seamlessly from indoor to outdoor to give you the perfect entertaining space all year round.

    This beautiful home will comfortably sleep 6 guests, featuring 3 bedrooms with queen size beds, open plan lounge room & dining area with a seperate sun room, main bathroom as well as a ensuite and laundry combined.

    Luxury bed & bath linen is supplied with a welcome supply of amenities all for your convenience.

    Other features include: WiFi, Smart TV that you can connect your Netflix to, games & books to keep to kids occupied, washing machine & dryer, Delonghi coffee machine, plus a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need for an extended stay.

    Shops are a short waterfront walk around the point or a short drive as are restaurants and clubs. Beautiful beaches and national parks are within 10 minutes.

    It is very important to select the correct number of guests as this will determine how many beds to have made up.

    We have a strict no party or events policy. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, so any type of events such as hens/bucks/schoolies/end of season sporting groups/birthday party celebration are not allowed. If you are unsure if your group falls into any of these categories please enquire before booking. We can easily determine if the house rule of “No parties or events” is disrespected, and this means additional charges, bond forfeited and/or eviction will apply.

Fantastic stay

Fantastic property, the pictures understate the beauty of the place. Situated next to the lake, with excellent amenities and close to nearby shops, this is the best place to stay for a holiday in Lake Macquarie.

Karinyah is a beautiful house; marvellous location and views over the lake in quiet and peaceful surrounds. A great place for time out. Great walks and local coffee shop. Our family had a truly enjoyable time.
