  • A unique retreat located in the Seven Mountains region near State College, PA. Come relax and disconnect from the world. Enjoy the quiet mountains. The home features 4 bedrooms. There are 3 bedrooms each with double beds and 1 bedroom with a single over full bunk bed. There is a large living room with a gas fireplace. A large well equipped eat in kitchen and dining table that seats 8. The property is located near Bald Eagle State Forest, which provides opportunities for hunting, hiking, Dual Sport riding (prime ground for adventure riding) and some of the best mountain biking trails you could ask for. Rothrock Forest and Coopers Gap are also located nearby for more outdoor enjoyment. The house is just 15 minutes from famed fishing spots. Only 25 minutes to downtown State College, making this a quiet place to stay for any University events. There are also several local wineries to visit and antique shops to explore. Very nice cabin in the mountains of PA. The cabin setting allowed for lots of nature watching. Comfortable living without all of the technology. Allowed us to unwind and spend time together as a family.

Dana was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was both safe and enjoyable. Despite extremely cold weather, our stay was beautiful and memorable!

A Wonderful Weekend Retreat

We were visiting the area for a large family reunion and were so happy to find a great place to spend the weekend that accommodated our smaller group.

Came with friends for our 20th Anniversary. House is exactly as pictured! Dana & Will were perfects "hosts"...excellent communication, great tips on places to eat....it was the perfect spot. We fished Penns Creek and were just in time for the green hatch. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. One of the most relaxing weeks we've had in years!!

Our stay at the retreat was perfect. Quiet and very relaxing. Yet close enough to Penn State to be able to visit our son for a football game Thank you Will and Dana for a great experience

We had a great stay at Will’s and Diana’s place .The reason for our stay , was our son’s graduation which we celebrated with friends and family in the house . The kitchen is wonderful equipped, and the whole house is very spacious ,The cabin is rustic, but with charm . The beds are comfy. Diana and Will were very good in communication and very very helpful ! Check in was very easy . In the house are two bathrooms. The upper one is really small and special the shower ( it’s a bath tub) for taller people tricky . Thanks again , for great stay with wonderful memories.

Our family felt very comfortable in this very nice cabin in Central Pennsylvania. We had a delightful time and enjoyed the front porch as well as the serenity. I just can’t think of anything that could’ve been better.

Perfect getaway with friends

We loved staying here for a weekend getaway. It was a great to stay in a beautiful natural rural location that was also close enough to lots of attractions. The house is charming, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed playing games in the living room and sitting by the fire pit. Also the beds were SO comfortable!

Even nicer than it looks

The house and the property are even cuter in person and the hosts are super accommodating. This was our second time at the house and we plan to come back every year!

A peaceful stay. The area was incredibly quiet being tucked away on a gravel road. Host was communicative and attentive when we needed help. There’s little to no service inside the home, which can be a good way to unplug and rest.

Lovely!

The house was WONDERFUL! Off the beaten path and quite. It was clean comfy and the property manager was very helpful and accessible. We had a great time and would recommend it and would stay there again ourselves.

Adorable hidden gem!

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here for Penn State weekends it is a hidden gem only 20 miles away. Secluded in the woods. Host is gracious, very clean, and beautiful historic property.

Wedding weekend

Stayed for a family wedding and it was centrally located between the different places we had to go. The only complaint was from the younger adults about no WiFi. The hosts were more than helpful.

Quiet get away

The bedrooms were perfect and the kitchen was very roomy and well set up. Nice to site on the deck after riding all day and grill and chill. Host was very helpful. I’d definitely stay again

I would stay here again.

This was an excellent VRBO! The location was great with access to a variety of activities. Seven Mountains Wine Cellars was a mile away and also provided for a great visit to the VRBO. The place was clean, accessible and very comfortable . Loved the front porch in the evening.
