Staffordshire County Showground

A great little find! We were looking for somewhere to stay near Birmingham airport the night before we flew to Majorca. I looked at all the usual suspects and it seemed quite expensive this time so decided to look on Expedia for alternatives. This place is quirky, convenient, value for money and has everything you need. I’m so glad we stayed here and we’ll probably return next year - might even book a hot tub chalet. The chalet we stayed in was Nicky. It was well equipped with a small kitchenette, dining table and bathroom. The welcome pack of tea, coffee and cookies was a nice touch. It was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable - perfect for a good night sleep before a flight. It was only approx 15 minute drive to Birmingham airport so worked well for what we needed. We popped into the bar/ restaurant for a quick drink upon arrival and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We’ll be back and will stay longer next time!
