"I would have rated this property an overall excellent with the exception of one major issue. The hotel is beautiful, new and has gorgeous decor. Our king room, although “compact” had NO storage for our clothes other than 5 hangers. No chest of drawers, shelves, etc. I had to stack our packing cubes on top of a vanity serving as a nightstand. We stayed for 3 nights but for longer stays the lack of storage would be uncomfortable since you’re practically living out of your suitcase. Very...

"The room is just adequate for London standards. Very clean and well maintained property. Well priced for central London. It’s well connected with transit services a block away. We mostly got around walking everywhere. It’s definitely 15 to 20 mins of walking to the main areas of attractions and good restaurants. Breakfast was good with both hot and cold options. It was nice coming back to a clean room each day. Overall it was a good experience for our first trip to London."

"The hotel is situated in a quiet, convenient area, near Buckingham Palace. Very close to Victoria Apollo, where we went to see wicked. It has a unique history, being the place that housed Queen Victoria’s servants. As a history fan, it is incredible to think that my room used to belong to one of these servants. "When we arrived the people at reception were so helpful, courteous and kind. They carried our very heavy bags up to the room for us. The room was clean and tidy. It was made up while we were out which is unusual these days unless you ask for it. It felt like they went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay."

"Room tiny but clean. Bed barely adequate - the thinnest, hardest mattress I have ever encountered in a hotel. I am not a heavy and I could feel the wooden slats underneath the mattress.
I stayed one of two nights booked and stayed with a friend instead for the second night.
Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, property was reasonably clean. "
