Place was ok until I saw homeless people in the hotel but traveling being a man, “I let it slide”. It’s dangerous and awkward if a family is traveling and you are subjected to smelling them or seeing them sitting in the common areas. I won’t stay there again because of this. Nowhere in their description does it state they house homeless or use the rooms for sheltering men. There is a good restaurant/pizza, bar etc in the lobby so you don’t even have to leave the hotel. Due to the bad weather, my original flight was canceled and rebooked to an earlier flight so I had to check out 1 day earlier and I went to the front desk and they said they would refund me for the 1 day and since it was booked via Travelocity, I had to contact them and all I had to do was call Travelocity and have them call the hotel and they would “approve my refund for the one day”. That never happened. Travelocity called the hotel THREE times and they used the excuse the manager wasn’t there to approve the refund. Total crap. So they took advantage of a free day at my expense. I had the insurance as well and NOTHING could be done because Royal Regency failed to comply with the refund. Unbelievable. NEVER will i recommend this what appeared to be a beautiful hotel to anyone. Be careful and choose/book wisely
