Less than a 10 minute walk to Seminyak Beach, the villa estate has 7 bedrooms and 9 beds, simply perfect for large groups!

Mawar Estate lies at the end of a quiet laneway and close to the most popular hotspots in Bali such as Potato Head Beach Club, Ku De Ta, the W Hotel, The Forge Gastropub & 24-hour sports bar and delicious Pison Café. The villa is also close to Seminyak’s beautiful beaches and Indian Ocean as well as ‘Eat Street’ with all its restaurants to suit all tastes and ages (Mamasan, Boy & Cow, Ultimos, Chandi, etc). The likes of Merah Putih, Sardine, and La Lucciola are either just a close walk or very short car journey away. The airport is only a 40 minutes drive.

For a totally relaxing holiday come inside, close the door, and let your mind wander off on any of the day beds in the villa estate or lounge around the pool and drink your favourite cocktails and cool off. Attention to detail has been paramount to ensure that all aspects of the villa complement each other. The Mawar Estate comprises all modern facilities including fast wireless broadband throughout the whole property.

THE VILLA
The Mawar Estate was designed for large groups in mind and consists of 7 luxury bedrooms (with 9 beds flexible accommodation including 7 double beds and 4 x adult singles or 7 x king beds) with air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms with high quality vanity units/fixtures & fittings. There’s a living and entertainment area with open plan dining as well as a fully fitted kitchen. A large swimming pool (child & non-swimmer friendly) with large gazebo or daybed is situated in the tropical garden area along with outdoor daybeds, sunloungers and BBQ area. A BBQ is available for use.

There are lots of interesting things for guests of all ages to do at the villa or nearby such as swimming, spa and beauty treatments, boogy boarding, surf lessons, Treetops Adventure Park, Waterbom Water Park, horse riding on the beach, cycling through the rice fields, Elephant Park, etc. The entertainment area also has a good selection of DVD films for all ages as well as satellite tv with numerous international channels. There are also many high quality restaurants, bars and boutique shops within a short walking distance to the villa.

A committed team of full-time, attentive staff including chef, driver and household staff will cater to all your personal needs and desires with a smile from cooking up a local dish, driving you to the unspoilt parts of the island or serving snacks and drinks while you laze around the beautiful private pool.

MAKING A BOOKING
The rate includes all of the following:

• Luxury villa estate accommodation with 7 bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms (9 beds flexible accommodation eg. 5 x king beds and 4 x adult singles or 7 x king beds).

• Airport transfers both ways (multiple pick-ups / drop-offs available for same group bookings) in comfortable air-conditioned vehicle

• Welcome drink and cold towels on arrival

• Our highly rated full-time, in-house chef

• Complimentary breakfast per guest each morning of your stay. For other meals you simply pay for ingredients at cost (with receipts supplied) which works out approx USD6-USD8 per person depending on what you order. It is a very cost effective way of eating for when you don't wish to eat out at the excellent restaurants nearby and the chef is excellent!

• Car & Driver available 8 hours per day (excludes petrol) - Suzuki APV or similar for up to 8 adults including driver. The driver will work extra hours for just USD5 per hour.

• Complimentary 1 hour Balinese massage for each guest (minimum 3 nights booking) – perfect for unwinding and relaxing after your journey

• Household staff with daily housekeeping, cleaning, fresh bath and pool towels, toiletries etc

Pool was the only disappointment. Notifies Manager. 3 children had cut hands or feet and one adult scraped their knee. All in same area. Apart from pool we had a wonderful stay, staff are fantastic, Villa was everything we expected and more. 15 extremely happy and satisfied visitors.

Mawar Estate

Lovely villa but needs a lot of work. Pictures are old and are not true to life. One couple had to leave by the Wednesday as their room had mould all through it. I have attached pictures. Any respiratory problems this is not great. The Smell from the 2 bottom rooms was not great. They smelt very bad. 3 of the downstairs toilets were not very secure. One of the bedrooms blocked up badly. A lot of rough tiles on the edges. My husband split his toe open. The pool needs a step or ladder, it is quiet a drop down to the first level. There are also a few sharp tiles in there. Quite a few of us ended up with cuts on our feet. However, Mila and the staff were absolutely lovely and could not do enough for you. Breakfast was great! I spoke to the owner about booking lunch through the villa and chose a menu. However, when I got there no idea and I had to do it all over again. It would have been cheaper to get catering in. Very costly. I had reached out to the manager and was told he would be in contact. No news so far. For the money we paid, there was a lot more high end options out there.

Te location was great to have close access to what was needed to enjoy the holiday.

The accomodation was very good and the staff were always excellent. The breakfasts were great and all the meals cooked by the staff were also great.

Amazing staff but villa experience was disappointingly average.

The staff at the villa really made our stay. We Barunaa, Madi x2, Maura and Moli. They were attentive and welcoming. They kept out of sight. Moli took us everywhere and gave good recommendations. I didn't meet Hery but he attended to all of our requests. During our stay there was heavy rainfall. This affected the drainage system, and the bottom bedrooms and bathrooms smelt of sewage. The bathrooms in a while we're disappointing. They are in need of a refurb. The tiles were water stained, had mold and they smelt of damp. Some of the bathrooms had big holes in the roof, which let foliage, and potentially animals in. The rooms were a nice size and had simple amenities, such as a wardrobe, bedside table and mirror. The beds were comfortable but they needed updating as the base of the bed were stained. The pool was beautiful we swam every day. The daybed above the filter and pumps was nice, but smelt of sewage. The driveway to the villa needs to be concreted over as in the downpour constantly wading through mud and god knows what. The kitchen and staff quarters need to be refurbished. The kitchen is tiny there is no good area for the staff to sit. The walkway to the kitchen is an uncovered alley muddy, wet and dinghy. The location was in walking distance to the town, where you can get food, alcohol and souvenirs. Everywhere else is accessible. It's a 30 min walk to Seminyak beach, which is doable on a milder day. For the price of the villa, I expected more. It needs refining for it to be outstanding. It wouldn't take much investment to get it to that standard. For comparison we stayed in Ubud for a couple of days, the cost of the ubud villa was half price per day and the finish and experience was exceptional. Don't get me wrong. We enjoyed our stay but the comfort experience was disappointing. .
