Positives - Staff at front desk is amazing. But that’s the only upside.
Negative - Let me preface by saying, we walked out after 10 minutes, forfeiting a 2 day reservation and the money. Getting to the hotel is a maze, you have to walk through a field of stores and ask around, as there are no signs. Then you need to climb up several steps, so if you have several bags - it’s going to be multiple steps (they don’t have an elevator). The lobby is filled with cardboard and buckets to collect water that’s been spilling. It’s located in the heart of bellavista, so don’t expect to sleep until 3 - as you hear the noise in the room. The rooms are very dated and not what you see in the pictures. The carpeting felt dusty, the bed and duvet had stains on them, there were cigarette butt marks in the tables, the fire alarm looked like it had been removed, the chairs are velvet, so it’s dirty and discolored from its age, the wall either is very dirty or has mold and it’s painted over. Pity - as this hotel looks visually very beautiful, but not a great place to stay. We left in 10 minutes, they refused to show us other rooms, saying it was full + refused to give us a refund. Probably the worst experience we’ve had here in Chile. Left in ten minutes and went straight to the double tree which is around 10 minutes away. We really hoped to have the boutique Chile hotel experience, but this was very disappointing. I would 100% not recommend.
