  • El Torreón es una hacienda grande y cómoda de nueve camas en el estilo tradicional de Santa Fe; techos altos, vigas (vigas de madera), paredes macizas que lo calientan en invierno, frescos en verano, chimeneas kiva y un patio cerrado con una fuente y árboles frutales.  A cinco minutos se encuentran algunos de los restaurantes más populares de la zona: El Nido, Tesuque Market, Bishops Lodge y unos minutos más a la plaza o a la Ópera de Santa Fe.

    El Torreón, que significa "La Torre", está rodeado de árboles y agua: el arroyo Tesuque al oeste y la Acequia Madre de Tesuque, una zanja de riego de 300 años, al este. El área es conocida por sus árboles de hoja caduca y la ubicación fresca del valle. El Torreón tiene numerosos patios y portales de losas (áreas cubiertas para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno), una gran terraza en la azotea con vistas al arroyo y la ladera y una chimenea al aire libre.  Su ubicación es tranquila y privada. Los ciervos a veces vagan desde la colina de la mesa hacia el este, que también tiene un gran sendero para caminatas y caminatas, además del sendero de Windsor accesible a pie desde Bishop's Lodge Road. La Acequia se ejecuta en los meses de primavera y verano, dependiendo de los suministros de agua.  El arroyo Tesuque varía de un goteo en los meses de verano a un torrente energético después de una tormenta en las montañas.
    Cinco habitaciones, (3 habitaciones king y 1 habitación queen y 1 planta baja en la planta baja) 7 baños, cocina gourmet totalmente equipada, un comedor formal con puertas francesas que se abren al patio privado, sala de estar formal con chimenea de gas, área de oficinas, el gimnasio en planta baja, muy bien equipado, con un dormitorio en suite adyacente y el área de la segunda sala de lavandería, hacen de esta casa un lugar ideal para unas vacaciones perfectas. Hay otra área de lavandería fuera del área de la cocina en el nivel principal de la casa.

    La espectacular casa cuenta con 5 habitaciones y 3. 5 baños. Dos dormitorios principales tienen hermosas camas king size y chimeneas kiva, un patio privado y con vistas a la montaña. Hay dos amplias habitaciones con camas Queen size, una con chimenea kiva y puertas francesas al patio. El último dormitorio contiene dos juegos de literas, una de las cuales contiene una cama tamaño queen que acoge cómodamente a adultos. Tehre es un sofá cama arriba en el estudio de la gran terraza al aire libre.

The property is spacious and beautiful. The rooms are fairly large, with lots of room for everyone to fit comfortably. We were a party of 10, with children, and it didn't feel like there were that many people in the house. Lots of seating areas, space to play, and the rooftop area was fabulous. The neighbor's dogs were a bit of a nuisance, but other than that, we had a great stay. It does get warm in the house, so we used the fans and the coolers. We loved the giant, well-stocked kitchen area and spent a lot of time there, cooking and hanging out as a family. Thanks, Two Casitas team, for the accommodations we requested!

Amazing house

Incredible property - extremely well maintained, meticulously cleaned, with tons of nice amenities. This house made our trip! Communication with management with easy and they were helpful with all my questions.

Roomy, great place for a family vacation. Don’t plan on working. WiFi is spotty at best. Great rooftop deck for star watching.

Perfection!

The house was perfection! It was large enough for 8 girls to not be on top of each other, yet had wonderful gathering spaces when we all wanted to commune. The walls are so sound proof that one person could sleep in their room while the others stayed up later talking and they couldn’t be heard. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen stocked…it was a dream! Thank you.

Wonderful Getaway

4 separate families came together for a saddened time (funeral) but the fact that we could all be together with plenty of room was amazing. The home was amazing. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to sit. The outside, upstairs sitting area was so relaxing and beautiful. Listening to the nearby creek was very calming.

The house is lovely and spacious, the kitchen well-equipped and, as it turns out, mostly comfortable with NO air conditioning in July. BUT, not one of us had a decent WIFI connection and could barely get any service even when up on the roof deck. In fact, we were given the incorrect front door code upon arrival and had to drive out to the highway to even contact anyone about it. Then drive back out to the house to enter the new code. For that reason, I just cannot give it five stars. Otherwise, a lovely spot for a large group. We were four generations from infant to 99 years old and the setup for everyone was great!

Great place

We had a family reunion with 12 people. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside spaces and especially the large living room. The master bedrooms were great. We weren't quite prepared for the rugged road leading into the house but overall it was a terrific experience. Thanks Two Casitas!

Great Stay in Santa Fe

This house made a great base for a long weekend exploring Santa Fe! We were a group of ten friends coming from all over the country. The house had several great outside spaces and the kitchen and large room were fantastic places for gathering. As stated in some other reviews and the pictures, there are three nicer bedrooms (two very nice ones!) and two bedrooms that are connected to one another, which aren't quite as nice. But we knew that going in-pictures are accurate, and all beds were still comfortable! Everything was spotless, and we just loved so clearly feeling like we were in the southwest even when we were at the house! We were less than 10 minutes from downtown but still felt so quiet and peaceful. Thanks for a great stay!

The house, layout and decor were just perfect for our family mini-vacation.

The house, layout and decor were just perfect for our family mini-vacation. The Nanny's "wing" of the house, could use some attention with regard to decor and general amenities. We had 3 adults staying in that space and it was a bit embarrassing to have them there when the rest of the house was so lovely. They were also challenged with regard to clothing storage - no closet or hooks to hang clothing?

Great family home for a large gathering

We recently spent a week with our adult children, their spouses and our grandchildren at El Torreon (10 individuals total). This home is gorgeous with plenty of room for socializing, game playing, reading and enjoying the outdoors. Because of COVID-19, we were sociallly distanced and cooked all of our meals in the beautifully appointed and well-equipped kitchen. We had all of our meals outdoors on the patio. There is lots of wildlife to enjoy and hiking trails within a mile's walk. A stream flows right by the home, a sound that is soothing at bedtime. The managers were very responsive to some repair issues, coming out to inspect things within a few hours of a call. Our only suggestion: upgrade the internet to more effectively cover the entire home. (There were a few of the rooms, including both master bedrooms, where there was no coverage). We would love to return at a time when we can more fully enjoy all that Santa Fe has to offer.

Our large family loved our stay.

Our large family loved our stay. The property was clean and well appointed. There was room for everyone from toddler twins to grandparents. We would highly recommend this beautiful property. We celebrated a birthday and a belated Christmas while we were in Santa Fe and we talked about how much fun it would be to come back during the summer season! Thank you for helping us make family memories!

The property and your service exceeded my expectations. My 3 adult children and their partners all said it was the best family vacation we’ve ever had. We hope to return soon. Thank you! Excellent service from Two Casitas! They answered all my questions timely and the property exceeded my expectations. I accidentally locked myself out of the house during a snowstorm on Thanksgiving Day. I called Two Casitas and they immediately told me how to locate an extra key and even offered to send an agent to open the house for me again.
