    Casa Viga Grande (The House-with-the-Massive-Beams) está ubicada en un vecindario históricamente auténtico y tranquilo sobre Canyon Road, el prestigioso distrito de arte y galería de Santa Fe. Las calles estrechas y sinuosas recuerdan a la vieja Europa.

    Esta casa estilo suroeste de 1600 pies cuadrados con aire acondicionado ofrece todas las comodidades y el encanto de la Santa Fe contemporánea. La amplitud de los techos altos, masivos, de viga-viga proporcionan un contrapunto al rico detalle de la decoración. En todas partes, el arte original y los artefactos cuidadosamente colocados se encuentran a la vista.

    Un aspecto singularmente atractivo de Viga Grande es el diseño. Dos suites de un dormitorio completamente separadas y espaciosas tienen sus propios baños privados con azulejos de piedra. Como tal, dos parejas encuentran atractiva la equivalencia entre suites. Mientras que una suite es más espaciosa internamente; el otro se abre a su propio patio privado.

    La cocina bien equipada cuenta con electrodomésticos de última generación; Puertas francesas dobles unen el comedor con un segundo patio muy privado y jardín cerrado.

    Los dos baños son hermosos y modernos, con azulejos y accesorios de alta gama. El baño principal tiene dos lavabos, una ducha separada de doble cabeza y una gran bañera estilo jacuzzi.

    Un camino de ladrillos del museo recibe a los invitados al entrar a la propiedad, que está prácticamente oculto detrás de una puerta de hierro forjado a mano. Hay estacionamiento fuera de la vía pública para vehículos de dos a tres.

    Una vez en el famoso distrito de la galería Canyon Road de Santa Fe, el viaje de 3 minutos (o 15 minutos a pie) a Viga Grande comienza siguiendo la histórica y nutritiva vía fluvial Acequia Madre (a la que los lugareños se refieren con cariño como 'The Mother Ditch') y luego serpenteando cuesta arriba por algunas de las zonas residenciales más encantadoras de Santa Fe.

    Un servicio de transporte gratuito también está disponible en Canyon Road, lo que facilita la exploración de muchos otros lugares en Santa Fe, incluido el Distrito Rail Yard.

We had a fantastic stay at this rental. It was located to everything we wanted to see and do. The house was clean and well equipped. The location was excellent! I’m not sure we could’ve walked to the square but it is doable.

We had a lovely stay here! The home was very well appointed, the furnishings were very nice and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but still close to downtown Santa Fe. We would love to return!

2nd Experience

Great property and location. Have rented it twice now when my adult children and their families come to visit. Both have enjoyed it. Great inside and outside gathering space with all the amenities. Secure off street parking in a wonderful historic neighborhood.

Secluded beautiful quiet casita

Stayed here with my mother for a long weekend. Everything was lovely: the kitchen was well appointed, rooms were clean with beautiful local art, and the garden was just starting to bloom. The place had everything we needed and was delightfully quiet in the evenings. Close to everything we wanted to do. Great communication from the hosts! We would 100% stay here again the next time we come to Santa Fe.

Great 2 BR home in Santa Fe

We really enjoyed our stay at this pretty 2 BR/BA home just outside of downtown Santa Fe. It was very spacious and well equipped with the items we needed. Check-in and check-out procedures were easy. Clear instructions for wifi and a/c units. Definitely would return to stay here. We were about 8 minutes drive time to La Fonda and easy parking.

Favorite Santa Fe home away from home

We have been renting this property each year for the past ten years. Richard is a marvelous property manager and we love the house and location. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to walk to Canyon Road and the Plaza. It's perfect.
