  • Hi! Thanks for your interest in our space. This is an awesome studio apartment for 1-2 people who want something affordable and walkable to many restaurants/bars, and the waterfront. Please read the full description for a better understanding of the space and a few things to keep in mind before booking.

    This is a ground floor studio apartment, 2 blocks away from central Little Italy with a kitchenette (no full kitchen) - very similar to a hotel room. Please note that the unit is on the ground floor, there is no designated parking space, and the door opens to the sidewalk, so you will hear normal city noise of passerby’s, cars, plus occasional footsteps from upstairs. If you’re looking for something affordable, walkable to Little Italy, Waterfront Park, Convention Center, with comfortable basic amenities, this is an excellent studio apartment! If you’re someone who would be more comfortable in a hotel, won’t sleep well with city noise, or is uncomfortable being so close to the street, this may not be the place for you.

    Just a quick stroll to the famous Little Italy, or popular attractions like Waterfront Park and Embarcadero. Convenience store and coffee around the corner. Very close to the airport, Convention Center, Gaslamp, Hillcrest, Balboa Park, Coronado, Petco Park.

    Amenities: Keypad entry, 24 hr check-in, A/C, Refrigerator, Coffee station, Apple TV, comfortable King mattress, brand new linens & pillows from West Elm.

Pros-super convenient and central-comfortable and not too big or small-tv with appletv that you can easily sign into-coffee maker and fridge-usually street parking right in front (2.50/hr, 8am-8pm/free overnight)-good communication with host-super easy check in and check out-looks exactly like listingCons-not enough pillows-only forks and knives but no spoons-Cups/mugs were dirty-only two very flat pillows definitely bring your own-not a lot of natural light in the apartment without having to show the whole world your business-no free parking-no microwave

Walkable to everything downtown which was very nice. Parking wasn’t as bad as expected! It is right along the street so there are lots of dogs and it has a smell of me right along the door

Great little place to crash for the weekend while we attended a festival at petco park. We walked to the trolley which dropped us right off at the park. Eating places within walking distance as well. Would stay here again

Convenient location!

I was visiting San Diego for an event at the convention center and this place was a great location to walk to the convention center, the gas lamp district, and balboa park! Very clean & cozy spot!

The room has a TV that would not work and there were no written instructions on how to use the different remotes and after speaking with the host it turns out that somethings wrong as there’s no signal, but I had no TV for the four days that I was there. Believe it or not there were no drawers to place clothes in or closet. The host left one hanger that’s it. There was a lamp on the desk and no instructions on how to use it. There was no switch or turning thing it turns out you have to touch the bottom of the lamp, but I did not know that. In adequate towels, there was no hand towels or washcloths.The bed was fair a little soft, not extremely comfortable.
