This lovely 1920s Craftsman Style Bungalow located in the heart of Ocean Beach is a certified historical landmark and was one of the very first cottages built in OB! The house has two levels, and you'll have complete and private access to the entire lower-level studio suite, a private patio area, and a private entrance. *Please note that there is another unit located upstairs. Both units are completely separate and self-contained, each with its own separate, private entrance and patio area.
The studio is divided into four separate areas. The bedroom/main sleeping area has a queen bed and a Roku Smart TV on the wall to decompress after being out and exploring the sights. Next to that is a living room area with a pull-out sleeper sofa, surfboard coffee table, and an electric fireplace for those cooler nights. A retractable fabric curtain divides these two spaces and can be moved to connect these areas if desired. The kitchenette is adjacent to the living area, featuring a hot plate, a convection toaster oven, a microwave, and a mini fridge. Built-in cabinetry offers plenty of space for dishes, glasses, cookware, and your food items. There is also a small dining table and two chairs. Just off of the kitchenette is the bathroom with an enclosed glass shower stall and vanity. The patio area is located right in front of the unit.
Relax in the patio or garden, or barbecue on the Weber gas grille surrounded by a gorgeous fenced-in yard with fruit trees, grapevines, native cacti, succulents, and other indigenous flora. Enjoy the convenience of the outdoor laundry area. The property is just blocks from several beaches including a local "secret" spot. Hit the shops and bars, grab brunch, or dine in one of the dozens of wonderful restaurants on and around Newport Ave. Stroll or take in the sunset on Ocean Beach Pier.
