Concerned about metal bars blocking window exit on floor zero rooms- block room exit in fire situation, but we were allowed to move to a floor 1 room without bars. Breakfast was great! The area is the “SoHo” of Paris and closest major attractions are Luxembourg Gardens and Notre Dame, both about a 10 minute walk. "We adored our stay at the Grand Coeur Latin. I’m the kind of person that obsesses over choosing the best possible hotel for my family’s needs and I absolutely scored with this one. Comfort, cleanliness, the ROBES, friendly and helpful staff, location, walkability…this hotel has it all. The shining star is their pool. It’s huge, clean, spa-like. I will never stay anywhere else in Paris.
One thing to note is size of room. Other reviews mention they are tight and it’s true. My teen daughter...

"We loved this hotel and will absolutely be returning. The staff is wonderful. The location is fantastic as you are walking distance from Notre Dame, Pont Neuf and the Louvre among others. There are at least two metro stations around the corner including the RER which takes you straight to CDG airport so traveling is very easy. We also loved the true Parisian atmosphere as we sat on our balcony in the morning and drank coffee. All around it was a fantastic time!!"
