Perfect

Best place we have ever stayed at when going to Ruidoso! Communication with owner was amazing! Beds actually comfortable! Never stayed anywhere in Ruidoso where our backs didn’t hurt. Located where we could walk downtown and didn’t have to worry about finding a parking spot downtown and also had a beautiful river behind us, nature, beautiful animals. Easy parking at the property and plenty of it. Would definately stay here again!

Spring Break Family Vacation

We had an amazing stay! The location was fantastic! Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Quick drive to any place we wanted to go! The house was perfect for our family! Plenty of room for our group of 6. And would have had room for more! The water was nice and hot after a cold day! TV’s in every room! And the owners were very nice! The wild life was visible daily! (Elk, deer and wild horses! We will be back!

Close to town

Although close to town but not nosiey. Clean, good bed set up for 12 people Somewhat small kichen but workable plenty of eating space. All on one level no stairs but big yard in good location and we saw elk. The balcony was good for eating and sitting could watch kids from balcony

Mama’s 90th birthday gathering!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Allegre! Stocked with plenty of towels and bedding for our large group. We cooked a big birthday dinner for mom and there were pots and pans for all our needs. It was the best of both worlds, right in town so we could just walk to the shops and also next to a creek with plenty of pine trees and visits from the deer. Everyone had a great time! Highly recommend!

Excellent getaway for a trip to Ruidoso. Easy check in access and quick responses from owners.

Excellent location if you want to be near shops. Lovely scenery and sound of the river is so relaxing. We enjoyed our stay.

Pre-Holiday Getaway

Casa Alegre is a beautiful home, great view and in a great location with just a nice stroll to all the shopping and restaurants. The home was a perfect fit for 3 families (12 ppl), plenty of room to hang out and play card games in the evenings. The younger kids enjoyed the front living space, while the adults gathered in the main living area. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and anything you'd need to prepare meals. Stocked with plenty of blankets and towels. The primary bedroom tends to be the coldest room in the house and the heat doesn't seem to make it's way in there, so we left the door open at night to try and get some of the heat in there from the other living spaces. Overall, it's a great home and we made some beautiful memories with our families.

Great location

The property comfortably slept our group. However, the bunk beds did not have comforters, the place was very dusty (cobwebs everywhere) the floor going into the bunk room has a soft spot where it was easy to trip and the kitchen is even smaller than it appears in the pictures. Overall, the place was ok. If you want to eat out and shop then it’s perfect. However, if you are hosting a large group and want to stay in I would not recommend this place. The flow is extremely awkward and did not make it easy for all of us to gather.

Great Place

The Only thing I would change about this home is that the front door was a business door and not a regular door. You could see right in. It was a little uncomfortable then that it was a really nice place to stay.
