"After a long drive From Bristol and sorting through things after a bereavement, I found Grand Hotel very welcoming. The Manager Pete was very understanding to our situation. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We were in room 18 overlooking the beach and sea, the amnesties basic, kettle tea coffee etc, bathroom was equally good and clean. I can’t fault this hotel. Easy parking till 10am will be definitely be recommending the Hotel to Family and Friends. "

"Staff were friendly and the property itself exudes vintage elegance. Unfortunately our room (Room 5 on ground floor) smelt extremely strongly of damp, so we didn't unpack any belongings. Despite opening windows and airing the room, there remained a very strong smell. There is obviously a long-term damp problem with this room which the owners should really get fixed."
