En el AONB de High Weald y convertido a un alto nivel, se accede a este atractivo granero de una sola planta a través de una pista a 1/4 de milla del carril y se encuentra en silencio en 500 acres de Brightling Park (una vez conocido como Rose Hill Estate) con ovejas y caballos en la granja Brightling es famoso por las muchas locuras de Fuller. Excelentes paseos en la puerta. Visite Bateman (la casa de Kipling) y el famoso jardín de corte de Sarah Raven en Perch Hill. Rye y Tunbridge Wells están a 30 minutos en coche, Brighton a 45 minutos. La estación de la línea principal a Londres está a 5 minutos en coche de Robertsbridge. Tienda y pub 2 millas.

A comfortable cosy barn in the middle of a field full of sheep, no phone signal, reasonable wifi.

A relaxing break in this tranquil spot, literally in the middle of the countryside.

A relaxing break in this tranquil spot, literally in the middle of the countryside. The barn was very comfortable and pleasantly decorated inside with all amenities you would want. The exterior photos don't really do it justice! We enjoyed the local walks and canoeing on the River Rother. A lovely peaceful area, with lots to see. There were some local pubs, but we didn't try them and supermarket in Battle. If you want a relaxing break away from it all this is for you. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Beautiful barn conversion set in Sussex countryside.

Beautiful barn conversion set in Sussex countryside. Very peaceful- no immediate neighbours which was great. Only a couple of gripes - drove 7 hours non stop from Cumbria- missed the turning up the track as name of property on the ground- a higher hanging sign would have stood out more for tired travellers like ourselves. No cereal bowls- used pasta bowls. No instructions where to leave the key so left inside door lock so hope this was ok. Otherwise would highly recommend this holiday property- very comfortable and warm, beautifully furnished and would stay again. Photographs do not do it justice - worth the journey!

ideal for a relaxing and peaceful break, although we couldn't get a phone signal this suited us the idea of our visit was to completely relax. this was our second visit this year and both times have been very enjoyable. the hosts are very welcoming and on hand if needed. will certainly visit again.

perfect location for 100% peace and quiet, exactly what we were looking for.

perfect location for 100% peace and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. hosts were friendly, helpful and informative. sheep wandering about right outside the door a delight. the internet worked 100% for the 7 days. beaches only 30mins drive. no complaints whatsoever, will certainly visit again in the near future.

A cosy 'get away from it all'.

A cosy 'get away from it all'. Peaceful and tranquil but with good access to coast and other places of interest. The Barn is clean and comfortable but is let down by odd and chipped crockery, the oven could do with a deep clean and window bolts need looking at (some windows can not be opened). Visitors should be made aware of the lack of mobile phone reception.

Coblye Barn was an absolute delight.

Coblye Barn was an absolute delight. Especially with a dog. My husband ended up working for 3 full days using the perfectly working internet, while I was able to stride out alone into the park, the surrounding woods, Darwell reservoir with the dog, then drive into Battle for some food and history. Bed was very comfortable, plenty of high pressure hot water, everything you need in a kitchen plus dog bowls. Easy communication with the owners.

My friend and I have just returned from our fifth annual visit to Coblye Barn.

My friend and I have just returned from our fifth annual visit to Coblye Barn. Obviously, that means we love the place and it is ideal for our needs. The setting is idyllic, the decor tasteful yet comfortable, and if you want peace and quiet , bar (baa!) the odd bleat of sheep and lambs,it is perfect. The only downside is complete lack of internet ( a blessing or a frustration) and poor phone signal. Also , the crockery /glassware is quite minimal. These are just minor moans about what is otherwise, a wonderful place to spend a short break.

The cottage is in a superb location and very peaceful.

The cottage is in a superb location and very peaceful. Overall it was very comfortable, especially the bed. Wine and flowers on arrival were also a nice welcome touch. I have to agree with a previous review however that crockery is a bit lacking and what is there is chipped and cracked. As a minor point, an oven glove would also have been useful. We also found that the shower head and the oven door were in dire need of a deep clean. On the whole, we had a pleasant stay.
