"My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!"

"We loved our fall getaway at this adorable cabin. The fall colors were gorgeous and the weather couldn't have been better! Sunny and cool temperatures so we could explore the area comfortably as a family with our 2 dogs. We especially loved seeing the freighters lumber past the cabin- our favorite times were lounging on the huge porch early in the morning and late at night when the lights from the freighters drifted past. "Our family of nine vacationed for a week. Fantastic time, enjoyed the property. Plenty to do without leaving-basketball, swimming, fire pit, sun rises, canoeing, simply relaxing! But, close enough to take a couple day trips. (We went to Mackinac City and Tahquamenon Falls)The hosts were amazing! Always around and a pleasure to sit and talk with."

"My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Willow Cove Cabin. When I booked I had no idea of all the friended we would see pass by loved this so much! We had a quiet peaceful stay on this beautiful property! Close enough to visit other areas such as taquanimin falls, white fish point , we even tried yooperlite hunting . We will definitely me coming back here to stay!!"
