"What a lovely stay at this beautiful home and property. Gorgeous area to hike and see Icelandic horses. Close to things - hot springs, horseback riding, waterfalls. The owner is a gem and was so available to answer all of our questions about the area. We even got to meet some horses up close and personal. We will be back. House was awesome and accommodated our family of 6! Clean and lovely!"

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and the hot tubs and sauna were a nice relaxing way to unwind after traveling."

"Hotel and staff are very nice. The food in the restaurant is excellent!! The provided breakfast has a lot of options, both American and Icelandic. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool but it looked very nice and saw a number of people using it. The hotel is quiet and our room was large and had a great view. "

"An absolutely amazing local hotel, restaurant, and campground. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, courteous, and helpful, and we loved every aspect of our time (two nights - wish it could have been longer). The food at the Rock-n-Troll pub was excellent and the views of the surrounding natural beauty were peaceful and magnificent. 6 stars out of 5 (and no, I'm not being paid for this review)"

"Did not receive the check in code and property manager was reluctant to assist. Not all rooms have a Mountain View (mine looked at another building). The room is small, as in the distance between the bed and one wall was about the side of a paperback book (~8 inches), another wall about 2.5 feet, and between the bed and third wall/bathroom about 3 feet. There is no closet, no place to put a suitcase. It's clean and functional. "

"Wir waren in einer der neueren Cabins und die war richtig neu und sauber. Tolle Aussicht aufs Wasser und die Stadt Borgarnes. Das Wetter war ziemlich windig und nass aber wir haben gemütlich im Hot Pot gesessen. Die Anlage liegt Nahe zur Ringstraße, was natürlich sehr verkehrsgünstig ist, dadurch hört man aber auch bei offenem Fenster ab morgens den Verkehr, was uns jetzt allerdings nicht sonderlich gestört hat. Mal gucken, ob die Cabins die nächsten Jahre so ordentlich und gepflegt bleiben. Es...

"Wir haben zum ersten Mal in Borgarnes übernachtet und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und ausgesprochen sauber. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das reichhaltige und köstliche Frühstück. "

"This was the nicest place we stayed on our 11 day trip this year. The staff was very welcoming and the "apartment" room was fully set up with a kitchen, refrigerator, wonderful bed and private bath. The parking was right outside and the owner herself welcomed and showed me the room. Hope to be by again someday!"
