Guest Access:

Guests can drive up to the villa to drop off luggage easily. Free street parking is available on nearby adjacent streets. Parking is not permitted in the alley itself, but guests have never had issues finding convenient nearby parking.



The Neighborhood:

Villa Amistad is located in El Cerro, Puerto Vallarta's historic heart, one of the city's original hillside neighborhoods overlooking Banderas Bay. Our quiet cobblestone alley is home to longtime Mexican families, creating an authentic, close-knit community where neighbors know and look out for each other. It feels genuinely Mexican, lived-in, and safe. Guests love staying here because they can walk to downtown energy, beaches, restaurants, and nightlife, then return to a peaceful local neighborhood with spectacular ocean views and the real Puerto Vallarta experience.



Getting Around:

he Malecón is just a 5-minute walk downhill. The Romantic Zone, Los Muertos Beach, Centro, and 5 de Diciembre neighborhoods are all within 5 to 25 minutes on foot. The hill up to the villa is moderate; Ubers and taxis are plentiful and very affordable if you prefer. Local buses run along the main roads below for just 10 pesos.

Families

Families with children are welcome, but please note the villa is not childproof. There is an unfenced pool, open stairs, low railings, and breakable artwork and pottery. No children's furniture or toys are provided. We encourage parents to reach out before booking to make sure the villa is the right fit.

- Stairs: 17 steps to the villa entrance, one flight up to the main level, then a spiral staircase to the studio. Staff can assist with luggage when available.

- Security Deposit: $25 credit card authorization hold (not a charge) placed 24–48 hours before check-in for card validation purposes. Any damages or outstanding balances will be charged to the card on file per the Guest Stay Agreement. Hold is automatically released after checkout.
