"We had a wonderful stay at this lodge! The front desk staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which immediately made us feel comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to an owner’s suite, which made our stay even more special.

"The location is lovely; ocean front with a nice balcony to enjoy the view. Everything else was way below expectations. We arrived at 9:30 pm and there was no one at the reception; they just left the keys and an emergency number to call. The shower in one of the rooms didn’t work; the room’s décor was so excessively golden and overdone that I wondered if at some point it had been a love hotel, and on top of that it was already outdated. I really don’t understand how it has such a high rating."
