"We stayed in the Emerald Room for the 4th of July (the largest with the peacocks and the king bed) and found the experience to be a beautiful gem inside Fort Bragg. Do plan accordingly because there is no microwave or any way to cook things, and the fridge was a little warm. I'm not knocking off any points for the appliance situation because it made the experience more historical and made the dream real. The tower was the highest point in Fort Bragg and gave an amazing view for the fireworks...

"Nice room with a phenomenal view. Staff is outstanding and friendly. Be aware though that you WILL be hearing the fog horn 24 hours a day. That being said, the white noise from the room fan covered it up pretty well. My wife is a VERY light sleeper and when we had that going she had no problems. I just didn't think the fog horn always went off even when there is no fog."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Ocean View lodge. My friend and I got the room with the two queens. One queen had an ocean view and the other queen was in a little nook. It felt like we had two seperate rooms to ourselves.. The beds were comfy and the view was gorgeous. We loved the balcony and the fact that the bike/walking path was right there as well as beach access. The highlight of our trip was biking from our room to the end of the Noyo Highlands coastal trail. It's an amazing bike ride....

"This property is very tired. Paint peeling off exterior, gardens unkempt, lobby and room furnishings outdated. Buildings had old furniture and shrink wrapped pallets stacked outside. We had a second floor room which was quiet and clean, but dark with a grungy balcony. All rooms opened to the outside. No deadbolts, just chains to secure the door."

"No free WIFI, floor was uneven and tiles peeling up. Show had stickers over holes where a grab handle was once installed. Required a $100 deposit even after I had paid in full. Front door had a no weather striping and we had to put a towel in front of it to keep the light out. Other than that the bead was conformable the sheets and towels where clean. Towels where replaced every day."

"Our check in time was late which really affected our evening plans. We booked the suite which did have plenty of room, however, we have two young kiddos and their feet were black from the dirty floors and after requesting it to be cleaned again, wet water and a towel were the only thing used. Overpriced for the quality and lack of amenities in my opinion. We won’t be back."

"The place is very run down. But, I guess you get what you pay for. I reserved a room with a kitchenette and guest room. I needed a separate sleeping space for my adult niece. When we checked in and went to our room, we found that it didn’t have the separate guest room. I went to reception and they said that that suite was rented out to someone else and unavailable.
