"A superb little hotel. Spotlessly clean. We had to remove the room “aromatiser” are they called - something scented with sticks coming out - far too strong and completely unnecessary but open windows and fresh air cleared the smell. Great breakfasts: wide variety and with apples fresh from the garden in September. 15 minutes walk into Oxford through the beautiful University Parks and onto Parks Rd, calling in at the Natural History Museum en route. "Lovely, modern boutique hotel centrally located. Opted to include breakfast and it did not disappoint. Also some nice touches in the room such as complementary still and flavoured waters in the fridge and a large chocolate bar. Only drawback was the lack of parking. Nearest car park was 15 minutes away and about £40 for 24 hours of parking. "The hotel staff were very nice, the room was large and comfortable. My only complaint is the air conditioning was blasting and it was pretty chilly outside. When I asked to have the heat put on, it was for a few hours then went back to cold. My room on the ground floor look directly to the street so if you want to open your curtains, i recommend you ask for a room upstairs. "

"We stayed at the Galaxie Hotel in Oxford as a family and had a very good experience. When a crib for our baby wasn’t available, the staff immediately upgraded us to a larger room to make our stay more comfortable. This thoughtful gesture really made a difference for us. The room was clean, the service attentive, and the location convenient. We truly appreciated the extra effort from the hotel team."

"We stayed at The Randolph for three nights in September 2005. We had breakfast there three times and dinner once. The dinner was excellent and the service was superb and a tribute to the superb staff my wife and I cannot praise the food and service enough. The breakfasts were equally superb with a wide selection of breakfast food at the buffet. The room was excellent in every way and the position of the hotel for visiting the city centre and Colleges was spot on. Richard and Martine 14/09/2025."
