"The food available was different everyday and at every sitting. It was always cooled well and was very tasty. The 2 restaurants on site are well worth the visit. The bar staff are fabulous and there is a wide range of drinks on the cocktail menu and the staff will also do drinks that aren't listed. "The pool and surroundings were great. There is not a beach to swim so we spent lots of time traveling to the beaches. Shuttle to beach only runs certain days so you to have to pay for taxi cabs which are around $50USD each way if you visit on the off shuttle days. It's located far from tourist attractions so taxi fare is constantly needed-$50USD or more each way. There are no evening events(they do have bars with music available) I am in my forties and even I was bored in the evenings here,...

"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked.
