The Place - Ponta Delgada Vacation Home - RRAL555
“The Place” is an old redesigned storage house using new architectural techniques.
The house is modern and full of charming details, some of them related to the sea: a fishing net partially dividing the floors, windows that are hatches and also some handcrafted reproductions of sailboats. In fact, we get the feeling that we're really in a boat. On the ground floor we find an open space with a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room. Still on the same floor we have the master bedroom, with double bed and bathroom. Upstairs there is a large space with two single beds (optional third bed or cot) and a bathroom. There is also a fantastic terrace overlooking the garden and some sea views, ideal for relaxing or catching up on sleeping inspiration. In the back is a barbeque.
The house is in one of the best places to live on the outskirts of Ponta Delgada. Despite being a very quiet area, it is close to the city center and several points of interest, leisure and services: places of cultural interest, pineapple plantations, beaches, supermarkets and restaurants, among others.
It is very easy to move from the house to any point on the island. You can walk to the center, use public transport or rent a car. The house is about a 20-minute walk from the town center and the nearest beach. The bus stop is not far away and there are several parking spaces in front of the house.

Wunderschönes Haus und ein top Vermieter
Das Haus ist wunderbar gelegen in einer sehr ruhigen Straße mit Parkplätzen direkt vor der Tür. Wer außergewöhnliche Architektur mag kommt bei dem Haus voll auf seine Kosten. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet und überaus gemütlich. Die Gastgeber sind wundervolle Menschen und vor allem sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kommen bald wieder.

Incredible home, full-service host.
The home is a beautiful all-wood modern structure, very comfortable, with all the conveniences. Location is great, as long as you have a car (easy parking). Very nice bathrooms, comfortable beds, quiet, safe. Francisco is an incredibly helpful host in all aspects of a São Miguel stay. We would be in some town at lunchtime and text him for advice and he’d respond with an always-perfect nearby place to eat. The rates for the house aren’t cheap but for the quality the value is quite good. Highly recommended.

Wonderful home away from home!
Excellent central location on a lovely quiet street outside of Ponta Delgada, yet easy to access all of the best sightseeing. Francisco was very helpful - he met us at the airport to lead us to the house which is only 15 minutes away. The house is very architecturally interesting and beautifully designed. It is spotless, fresh, feels very new and is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Spacious, yet delightfully cozy. We really appreciated the welcome basket and the box of information on what there is to see and do on the island. And when I forgot my shoes at the house, Francisco was kind enough to drop them off at the airport before I even got there to depart! Highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.
