Doing too much, poorly

The good:- there are lots of amenities, as listed in the description- we were allowed early checkin and late checkout, which came in handy!The bad:- the property DOES NOT sleep 16, even though it is advertised to. We had 11, and still had someone on the floor on an air mattress- overall cleanliness was rough around the edges. The pickle ball court was torn down/broken and needed work to be useable. There was sludge/oil on some of the cabinet handles, the grill was gross and hadn’t been cleaned, there was animal hair in multiple locations and there was meat juice residue (or something) in the fridge- host communication was sub-par. They sent the same copy paste message with questions again after I had already responded, and when asked where more blankets were they responded with “in a closet somewhere” and then we couldn’t find them. I even tried to clarify the sleeping situation months in advance and received no response- the WiFi network was used to gather information for them/a third party. This is just cheap and scammy. I prefer properties that just provide WiFi without collecting data that is not necessary

Perfect spot for a multi-generational vacation!!!

The location of the house was great! Close enough to amenities, but far enough away where it was peaceful and quiet! The house had everything that we could have hoped for and more

Great Place and Location

This place was awesome. Plenty of games, pickleball, etc. pool, hot tub. Clean with many amenities. Beds were great! Good location. Safe neighborhood for walking. Great communication with Jolene (our host). We definitely would stay here again.

Great yard full of activities for all ages

This beautiful home has a pool, hot tub, pickle ball court, toys for a ten year old and toys for a 3 year old, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and basic supplies to get through our rental. I so appreciated not having to buy dishwasher or laundry soap. The fire pit was enjoyed by all and made great s'mores. The view is great. And it is close to the Sonora desert for great family hikes. Be aware that there are three king beds, not four as I think was listed and one of the bathrooms is way on the opposite side of the house from the bedrooms but near the hot tub! Communication was great when we needed something or had questions. They got back to us quickly.

Beautiful home. The management company did a great job answering any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again. Pickleball court was awesome! We used it all the time!

Quick Getaway

I was in town for my grandkids graduation and decided to give them a quick getaway. This place was great and had so many amazing amenities. We definitely needed more time than our two days!! The host responded quickly and was very helpful. Would recommend to anyone!!!

Arizona retreat

We have stayed at many places in the Scottsdale area over the years and this one was the best for our family. The location was perfect. So close to everything and yet was quiet and felt we weren't in the city. Jolene was super attentive and really quite easy to work with. When we needed anything she provided it quickly. Gave us lots of options of things to do with the young children when it rained. Everything was clean and inviting. This is definitely a place to return to. Thanks Jolene for the use of your home.

This property should not have been on the vacation market

We thought long and hard before writing this I own rental properties. We picked this pet friendly, property due to a heated hot tub and pool, enclosed yard. This was a new VRBO property. We were the second renters. Owner said that since she didn't have feedback from the first renters and did not know about the problems. Later in our conversation we discovered that she was aware but still willing to market her property.. The electricity kept tripping throughout our stay. First it was along one side of the house and all of the bedrooms. Then the dishwasher tripped and the pool stopped heating. Jolene(owner) said when it happened before she reset the GSI. This worked at first but kept tripping. We did not have heat in the main part of the house.. (2 heaters) When the fan clicked on there was a loud noise, rattling and painful pressure to our ears, especially in the kitchen. Jolene said we were lucky that the other 1/2 of the house was heated and the problem was only in the kitchen! Owner was aware of this problem but didn't have time to fix it because we were coming.. The bedrooms didn't have a dresser, shelves or a suitcase rack. No place to put your clothing. Lamps had lightbulbs but could not reach the wall socket.s. There was a storm, lighting but no flashlights. We purchased extension cords, sponges, and cleaning items. We were there for a -holiday family week. We did not want workers coming in to fix problems she knew about. She offered workers to come inside the house while we were hiking. We have two teenage girls using the swimming pool. Owner said I did what I could I offered, all I can say is sorry. How many workers would it take for how long to fix all these problems! Due diligence. One day, two pool workers came again without notifying us. The girls were in the yard alone. We paid for daily hot tub/pool heating. There was no hot tub service to refresh chemicals even though they came for the pool. Before arriving I asked the owner about the chemicals. I have a hot tub and know the health factors. Owner said I could use light chemicals only. . We paid a considerable amount of money plus daily heating for the spa and pool. heating the pool and spa. We tried to contact VRBO but never got a response. There was no welcome or exit notes. We deserve a partial refund. The house was not ready for renters. Owner expected previous renters and VRBO to educate her. Perhaps I will hear from VRBO.
