"No heat the first night. When reported, housekeeping brought a tiny space heater from the managers office. The heater was a fire-hazard, too small for the queen size bed room (in the old boy’d dormitory area). The cord was too hot to touch. When I returned the unit to the front desk I was not even offered a change of room. I also reported dirty, dingy sheers in the windows and the loud exhaust fan in the bathroom. "This recently remodeled motel was completely charming. We had a room accessible directly from the parking lot, and it was decorated beautifully. The nautical theme extended throughout. The bathroom was large, beautifully tiled, and perfectly functional. Towels were changed daily. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with nice cotton sheets. We would stay there again."
